Your tip for May 16, 2006 - RIPEN AVOCADO FAST

Did you know you can "bury" your avocado in your flour canister and it will ripen faster? No kidding it will. Just don't forget it, speaking with the voice of experience. I seldom buy avocados in Alabama, because they are outrageously priced. When I do buy them they always need to be ripened and I have found this to be the fastest way to do it. I check on it every day to be sure it is not over ripe.
